Equine Adventure Camp Days
A collaboration between Stagecoach Equine and A Trillion Equine.
Equine Adventure Days are beginner-friendly horse experiences designed to introduce kids to life with horses. Participants will learn horse safety, grooming, and basic horsemanship through hands-on activities and a guided riding experience. Each themed day offers a unique adventure while helping kids build confidence and comfort around horses. These special events are offered during school breaks and summer vacation for ages 6–12, with no prior horse experience required.

All Day Camps take place at Leaning Birch Equestrian Center in Ledyard, CT.
Due to allergies, we ask all campers to pack their own lunches. Water will be available on site. Campers are asked to wear boots or shoes that are well secured to their feet along with long pants. While we have an indoor arena to be out of the wind, sun, or rain, we ask you dress your child appropriate for the outside temp as our riding arena is not temperature controlled.
Horses Around The World: Intro to Horses
Discover the amazing variety of horses found around the world during this beginner-friendly introduction to life at the farm. Participants will learn basic horse safety, grooming, and enjoy a guided riding experience while exploring how different types of horses are built for different jobs.
Ranch Life: Intro to Western Riding
Step into the boots of a working ranch hand and discover how horses help get the job done. Participants will learn basic horsemanship, try fun ranch-style activities, and enjoy a beginner-friendly riding experience.

Equine Olympics: Intro to English Riding
Jump into the world of Olympic-style riding with safe, beginner-friendly activities inspired by dressage, jumping, and cross-country events. Participants will learn basic horsemanship, enjoy guided rides, and discover how horses compete in Olympic equestrian events.

Knights of the Barn
Train like a brave rider as you take on fun challenges and obstacle quests around the farm. Participants will practice beginner horsemanship skills and enjoy a guided riding experience before earning their place as a Knight of the Barn.
